Our Seafarers’ Medical Commission provides fast, accurate, and internationally approved medical examinations for seafarers in accordance with the requirements of the World Health Organization and the International Labour Organization (ILO/WHO/D.2/1997 Geneva). The issued certificates are recognized in many countries worldwide and comply with MLC (Maritime Labour Convention) standards.

How often must a seafarer undergo a medical examination?
According to international regulations:
Seafarers must undergo a health examination every two years (after the age of 50 – every year)
Ship cooks and stewards – every year, due to elevated hygiene requirements

Prior appointment is mandatory!
Arrival requirements:
Arrive for the seafarers’ medical examination between 8:00 and 9:30
Bring:
Your previous medical certificate
Seafarer’s book
The examination can be performed no earlier than the 15th day after returning from a voyage
Do not attend with signs of illness (fever, cough, runny nose, etc.)
