I needed to have stitches removed after an appendectomy while on an extended trip. The hotel in Riga made an appointment for me to come in at 11:00 and have the stitches removed. I arrived 15 minutes early and they saw me immediately, efficiently removed my stitches and I was on my way before my 11:00 appointment was supposed to start. It is always intimidating to deal with healthcare systems as a tourist, but I had a great experience.

She was extremely polite and attentive, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I also appreciated the thoughtful details, such as 1 hour of free parking, which is more than enough for the visit. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, nothing like the usual hospital feeling, it’s much more relaxing and pleasant. Highly recommended!
