Paediatric psychotherapist

Paediatric psychotherapist

A paediatric psychotherapist helps children with behavioural disorders, psychosomatic disorders or any other psychoemotional suffering, when parents feel worried, afraid, disappointed, despaired, exhausted, confused and don't know how to help their child.

The first visit to a paediatric psychotherapist is for the parents (one or both) to get support and reduce their anxiety.

The purpose of the first visit is to find and understand the potential causes of the problem and agree on further cooperation. Then there's the introduction visit, when the psychotherapist meets the child and one or both of the parents are present. However, the next visits are for the child alone.
