Subjective Refraction Assessment

Subjective Refraction Assessment

Subjective refraction assessment is an examination that determines the patient's visual acuity and the best corrected visual acuity for each eye individually, by reading a chart of letters, numbers, or symbols displayed on a screen. If visual acuity does not meet the standard, vision correction is performed using optical corrective lenses, which are placed in a special trial frame.

Both services covered by the National Health Service (NHS) and insurance companies, as well as paid services, are available.
