Vaccines that are covered by NHS:

! Vaccines that are covered by NHS are available only to the children who are registered at one of the SIA ''Veselības centrs 4'' general practitioners.

• All the vaccines that are included in the national children vaccination programme and paid by the government are available.

All children below 18 years of age have the right to receive all state-sponsored or mandatory vaccines, even if they have missed the recommended vaccination time.

To receive a NHS vaccine, the child needs a referral from his or her general practitioner.

The NHS-sponsored vaccination services are available in the SIA ''Veselības centrs 4'' vaccination office at K. Barona iela 117 (Room 102).

Other vaccines (not covered by NHS):

SIA ''Veselības centrs 4'' vaccination offices in Latvia also offer additional private vaccination against following infections:

• tick-borne encephalitis;
• hepatitis A;
• influenza (from 3 years of age);
• traveller infections.

Children under 5 years of age require a special referral for vaccination from their physicians.

After the age of 5, such referral is not required.
