Performance of appropriate diagnostics is important for establishing correct diagnosis of feet problems and adaptation of appropriate therapy. Podometry serves this purpose.

FREEMED platform available at Veselības centrs 4 allows determining the phases of gait, assess the pressure on the sensor plate, as well as watch the video recording of the gait in slow motion.

During the examination by using this new method, the patient several times walks on a 25 m long platform with pressure sensors, which allows to collect wide and precise information on the gait of the patient, loading of the support surface of the foot, stability and symmetry of the gait.

The gait of the patient is simultaneously recorded by 2 cameras, which allow analysis of the gait in real time, while assessing the feet and knee joint movements at least in 2 projections.
