Sling therapy or Neurac® (Neuromuscular Activation) is an innovative treatment method with standardized muscle activity tests. This method has been developed by combining therapeutic exercises with suspension therapy.

Neurac method is based upon recognized scientific principles and is focused on neuromuscular control optimization for patients with musculoskeletal disorders. It is also suitable for therapy of various neurologic disorders, as well as for post-surgery rehabilitation and improvement of a body''s physical shape.

Veselības Centrs 4 physiotherapists use RedCord® equipment. This concept is created and developed in Norway, it is based upon scientific principles, and results of new researches confirm continuous development of this concept.

Sling therapy helps strengthen deep muscles supporting the spine, improves metabolism in structures adjacent to the spine (vertebral joint cartilage, intervertebral disks, ligaments).

Sling therapy is used for the purpose of patients'' rehabilitation in various medicine fields: neurology, orthopaedics, surgery, geriatrics, sports medicine, paediatrics, etc.

Veselības Centrs 4 was the first in Latvia to start using sling or string therapy in rehabilitation, opening a sling therapy room in 2001.

Veselības Centrs 4 physiotherapist Vilnis Ozoliņš is also NEURAC 1 and NEURAC II certified instructor.
